RSL Club Sponsor Kokoda Youth Leadership Challenge

Adriana Porcelli & Grace MacPherson, both sponsored by the RSL Club to take part in the 27 Septempber - 8 October Kokoda Youth Leadership Challenge.
Building community leaders for tomorrow and keeping the spirit of our Anzacs alive in the hearts & minds of the future generations!
"Thunder Project"
As a unique way to not only raise much needed funds for the Willan Hills School but to also provide interative involvement between the children and the raising of the steer, Wagga RSL Club purchased a steer to be auctioned. The children chose the name, "Thunder", because he reminded them of a fluffy storm cloud. Thunder recieved regular visits from the children right up until he was sold at auction on Monday 7 December raising $9,500. All proceeds went directly to the school thanks to the generous waver of fees from everyone involved. It is heart warming to know the generous spirit in our community is alive and well!
RSL Club helps the community
At Wagga RSL Club, our spirit of social responsibility rests on one principle: giving back to the very community that has helped to make Wagga RSL Club successful.
The most obvious way the Club contributes is through the Community Development Support Expenditure scheme (CDSE). The CDSE scheme is designed to ensure that larger registered clubs in NSW contribute to the provision of front-line services and projects within their local communities.
Successful Recipients for this year included:
